The recent 2022 NFDA Funeral Directors’ Expectations Study confirmed once again that finding qualified funeral directors to fill open positions remains the greatest challenge facing funeral service. Additionally, according to the study’s findings, 72.3% of employers found value in students having additional Arranger Training opportunities. As a step forward in meeting these needs, NFDA is offering complimentary registrations to the upcoming eight-hour Arranger Training programs in Littleton, Colorado (September 28), and Baltimore, Maryland (October 8), to registered apprentices who attend with their preceptor or paying registrant from the funeral home at which they are working.
This will be a great opportunity for employers to bring their future employees-in-training to a workshop where they can participate in discussions with current practitioners about better communicating value to families and leading families in discovering and meeting their unique needs. Learn more about the NFDA Arranger Training program by visiting www.nfda.org/ArrangerTraining.
To take advantage of this special offer, you must call your member services representative at 800-228-6332 to register. Documentation of a current apprenticeship registration, such as a letter from the state licensing body or from the funeral service professional sponsoring the apprenticeship, must be provided to NFDA at the time of registration. Please note: CE credit will not be issued to the apprentice.
