NFDA will bring women together for the 2024 Professional Women’s Conference, April 28 through 30, 2024, at the DeSoto Hotel in picturesque Savannah, Georgia. The Funeral Service Foundation will offer 20 all-inclusive David C. Baue NFDA Professional Women’s Conference Scholarships to make this popular event even more accessible.
During this conference attendees representing all facets of the funeral service profession will be empowered to not only sit at the table but lead at the table. Registration for the conference will open February 28, 2024.
The Funeral Service Foundation is offering the David C. Baue NFDA Professional Women’s Conference Scholarships to professionals and students to attend this year’s event. The scholarships are all-inclusive and cover registration and event fees, a two-night stay at the DeSoto Hotel, and up to $500 in travel reimbursement.
Applicants must be verifiably employed in funeral service or related occupations or be a student in good standing and currently attending classes at an ABSFE- or Canadian-accredited institution or program; NFDA membership is not required.
Complete requirements and the application form will be online at www.funeralservicefoundation.org/scholarships. Applications will be accepted through January 29, 2024. Applicants will be notified in late-February 2024.
“I am so eternally and inexpressibly grateful to the Baue family for the scholarship fund,” said a previous Professional Women’s Conference scholarship recipient. “It would have been utterly unthinkable for me to attend the conference on my own dime, but it was a lovely and enriching experience that I hope to carry forward with me into professional practice.”
