Thanks to the election and a series of retirements, the House Ways and Means Committee will undergo a massive transformation next year – at least 12 new faces will help set the tax agenda. With Democratic control of the House combined with a Republican Senate – and a Republican-controlled Finance Committee – these committees will have jurisdiction over many of the top-line issues, including tax policy, trade, and healthcare.
