As a result of the recent midterm election, we’ll see many new faces in the halls of Congress when they take office in January. Every day in Washington D.C., members of Congress are deliberating a voting on issues and legislation that can have an impact on how you run your business, your ability to serve families and, ultimately, even your bottom line.

You can feel confident knowing that NFDA’s Advocacy team is always hard at work for you in Washington, D.C. They will be working to build relationships with the newly elected members of Congress, educating them about funeral directors' positions on the issues that matter and enabling them to make a positive difference on issues affecting funeral service and your business. 

But we can't do it alone! The collective voice of NFDA members sharing their story and the stories of those they serve make a big difference on the Hill. Getting involved is easy – and our Advocacy team can provide advice on how – but first, you have to get to know your new representatives.
