Have you ever wondered about your family tree? The story of how your family came to the United States and the people who came before you? While you’re in Salt Lake City for the NFDA International Convention & Expo, you’ll have a chance to learn more about your family roots on Monday, October 15.
At 7:30 a.m. on Monday, October 15, join Steve Rockwood, CEO of FamilySearch International, for the workshop Finding Your Roots. All people have a universal desire to connect with their family and heritage. This session will introduce the healing power of helping individuals during life-transition events to further discover their multi-generational family and feel the power of connection.
NFDA Convention attendees and guests can Experience their family history in a whole new way during an exclusive experience at the Family History Library. On Monday, October 15, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., you're invited to explore your family tree using the latest interactive technologies and can create an audio or video recording to preserve treasured family memories. For the best experiences, Family Discovery guests are invited (but not required) to create a free online account at FamilySearch.org and build their family tree before coming to the library.
