We understand that funeral directors are busy and that making a decision to become a candidate for an at-large representative seat on the NFDA Board of Directors is a big one. NFDA is extending the application deadline for at-large representatives to February 12 to give all who wish to apply an opportunity to do so. 

At-large representatives on the NFDA Board of Directors play a critical role in ensuring the association is fulfilling its promise to members to deliver the support, resources and advocacy they need to thrive. Board members also play a vital role in helping to shape the future of NFDA and the funeral service profession.

To enable everyone who has an interest in serving in this vital leadership role the opportunity to become a candidate – including those who may have begun an application but did not have time to complete it – we are extending the application deadline for at-large representative candidates by one week to Monday, February 12 at 2pm CT.
